Wheels

Over the years, we have had the opportunity to be a part of the development of blasting machines for cleaning wheels and rims.  We helped to pioneer this industry and develop automatic machines to eliminate the manual system of air blasting.  We offer many styles of machine that vary based on the size of the rim - from automotive to the large mining trucks - as well as the production volume required.

Model S-2-8 T

The model S-2-8 T is the smallest machine we manufacture for rim blasting. This machine is ideal for low volume requirements and where floor space is at a premium. It can be configured to allow the rims to rest on two rollers inside the machine, or a fixture can be loaded to allow unusual configurations. This machine can rotate a 24" diameter rim. Average cycle time is 12 minutes.

Model S-4-10 T

The model S-4-10 T was originally designed to blast clean engine blocks and heads. However, this machine also can be configured to allow rims to be placed directly on the rollers or a fixture can be loaded to allow unusual applications. This machine can rotate a 36" diameter rim. Average cycle time is 10 minutes.

Model S-5-14 T

The model S-5-14 T wins the award for the most machine for the money. With a relatively small cabinet, but with the horsepower of larger machines, this model provides very aggressive cleaning. This machine can rotate a 30" diameter rim. Average cycle time is 5 minutes.

Model S-17-40 T

The model S-17-40 T is the most common machine model across all industries and has been in continuous production for 40 years. The machine is similar to the S-5-14T except with a deeper cabinet to allow larger diameter wheels to be placed into the machine. This machine is common for large truck wheels. It can rotate a 36" diameter wheel. Average cycle time is 10 minutes.

Model S-24-48 T

The model S-24-48 T was development for the special application of large mining truck wheels. Wheels as large as 48" diameter can be placed inside this machine for rotation and aggressive cleaning. We have even stretched this model to clean 54" diameter wheels. Now that's blasting! Average cycle time is 12 minutes.
