Automotive

The first Walker Peenimpac shot blasting equipment was developed in 1952 for the automotive parts rebuilding industry to recycle automotive water pumps. We revolutionized the automotive parts rebuilding industry with the introduction of this first shot blasting machine. We have been leading this industry since that day. ShotKing represents 50 years of quality and innovation. From alternators (or generators back in the day) to brake shoes and calipers, engine blocks, heads, transmission cases and differentials our shot blasting equipment can clean more parts for the money than any other method in the automotive parts rebuilding industry.

Model S-5.2

The model S-5.2 - the "Little Giant" - is our introductory machine for the automotive rebuilding industry. This is the machine that everyone can afford. It is ideal for the small-part rebuilder. Parts are placed in a rotating basket for tumbling over a blast stream of steel media. This machine has been commonly used for alternators, starters, water pumps, turbo housings and automatic transmission bands. The basket size is 24" diameter by 24" wide. Average cycle time for this model is 12 minutes.

Model S-3-9

The model S-3-9 is a larger, more powerful version of the S-5.2. It has a larger basket for larger parts and more horsepower for faster cleaning. This is the machine that pioneered this industry 50 years ago. It is perfect for cleaning small to medium size parts. The basket size is 30" diameter by 24" wide. Average cycle time for this model is 8 minutes.

Model S-7-19

The model S-7-19 is the largest single wheel machine that we manufacture. It has a large diameter basket for cleaning bigger parts and more horsepower to clean difficult parts. This machine was developed to handle the brake shoe and caliper rebuilding markets. The basket size is 36" diameter by 32" wide. Average cycle time for this model is 8 minutes.

Model S-2-8 T

S-2-8_T_button.jpgThe model S-2-8 T is the smallest two-wheel machine that we manufacturer. It has a removable basket that can be configured for many types of applications. The most common application in the automotive rebuilding industry is cleaning small engine blocks and heads. It can also be used for automotive wheels. This model has a capacity for a 24" diameter basket 45" wide. Average cycle time for this model is 12 minutes.

Model S-4-10 T

The model S-4-10 T is our most common machine in the automotive rebuilding industry. The removable basket can be configured for many types of parts, but is most common for engine blocks, heads, and transmission housings. We have even stretched the width of this machine to allow differential housings to be placed inside! This model has a capacity for a 36" diameter basket 48" wide. Average cycle time for this model is 10 minutes.

Model S-17-40 T

S-17-40_T_button.jpgThe model S-17-40 T is our largest machine commonly used in the automotive industry. It is also the most common machine we manufacture across all industries. It has a removable basket that can be configured for the largest automotive and truck parts. The basket size is 36" diameter by 68" wide. Average cycle time for this machine is 8 minutes.
