A leading industrial and mining wheel manufacturer and rebuilder need to blast a 50” diameter wheel 50” wide. This wheel weighs in excess of 500 lbs. No easy feat. Shotking to the rescue! We developed the S-24-48T for this application. With a cycle time of 10 minutes, problem solved!
From Manual to Automatic
One of the world’s leading silver companies contacted us in 1980 to develop equipment to eliminate the labor intensive slag and dross removal from silver bars. The current process was to manually remove using air-operated scaling hammers and needle hammers. Shotking developed the S-5-14T to handle two silver bars per 10 minute cycle. Problem Solved!
The BEAST
A leading propane tank refurbisher in Canada needed a blasting machine for 1,000 gallon propane tanks. This machine needed to process thirty of these large tanks per shift. Shotking to the rescue! The model S-34-55-1000 can blast clean a 1,000 gallon tank in 15 minutes, removing paint rust and contaminants for good paint adhesion. This beast was delivered in 2005 and is still processing tanks today.

The nation’s largest remanufacturer of gas and diesel engines, transmissions, differentials and rear axles has been utilizing the Walker Peenimpac Machine exclusively at its facilities in Indiana since the mid 1970’s. We have 10 machines in operation currently at their facilities. The original machine that we sold in 1975 is still in production today!
10 Years of Around-the-Clock Service
In the mid 1990’s, the world’s leading global supplier of pressure cylinders needed a blasting machine in their Ohio facility for blasting 420 lb. propane cylinders. This machine needed to process a new cylinder in 2 minutes, cleaning the new metal and creating a profile for paint adhesion. This machine would need to clean inside the collar and footring. The Walker Peenimpac Model S-17-40 SP was the solution. This machine, after 10 years of around-the-clock service is still on the production line today.
